Privacy Policy
Here at SmarTEST we take user privacy very seriously and we have little to no collection of user data. Here are our privacy policies for SmarTEST Instructor and SmarTEST Student:
SmarTEST Instructor:
When you create an account, your username, password, and email are securely stored in Parse, a trusted and popular mobile backend platform based in the US. Your passwords are always hidden and no one can access them. Password resets are done securely using Parse's APIs.
SmarTEST Student logins are created by the Instructor (user) and the student names (which are optional) are encoded before they leave your device and are securely stored in Parse. Once again, no third parties can access this and even first party administrators cannot see this information because of the encoding.
All other information such as quiz data, results, map data, coordinates of groups, and reporting card colours are also securely stored in Parse.
SmarTEST Student:
All login information is created via the instructor and securely stored in Parse. When students use this login, the only data they transmit are quiz results which contain no user information and are also securely stored.
